Back to overview Kurt Mayer Send E-Mail “It is leadership that makes the difference!” This is a point that Kurt Mayer emphasizes time and time again. Hardly surprising, given that he himself has experienced time and time again as an employee how a leadership mix of hierarchy, micro management as well as close monitoring cripples the motivation and initiative of employees – and ultimately paralyzes organizations. As a consultant, it is of great importance to him that leadership development goes beyond the progress of individuals alone. He is motivated by questions such as “How can the leadership of the entire organization be mobilized and reinforce a culture of cooperation, responsibility and trust?” when assisting in the development of management teams and supporting the introduction of new models. Kurt Mayer studied political science and sociology and spent a long time in his capacity as a social scientist on the question of how new ways of thinking can penetrate companies. His switch to corporate consultancy was driven by a need to move away from “analysis” to “action”. Following a Master’s degree in organizational development and his training as a systemic coach, he discovered his passion to be in the management of organizations and management teams with tailor-made programs.
